HISTORY
Located in the most beautiful lake region of Pirkanmaa, Laukko Manor has a fascinating history dating back two millennia. The home of the legendary Kurki family is known today by it's enchanting archaeological discoveries and famous Laukko deer. The Lönnrot-era Laukko Manor was burnt down in the last days of the Civil War in 1918. The present main building and courtyard, representing the most beautiful Nordic classicism, was built in the 1930s. Laukko Manor was opened to the public in honor of its 600th anniversary in 2016. 30.000 summer guests visit the manor every year.

Concert and exhibition guests visiting Laukko Manor are elegantly served by the high-class restaurant, café and shop in the Banquet Hall. Laukko Manor's numerous art and history exhibitions are located in the Manor's main building and in a beautiful park area, where large park concerts are also held in June.

CONTEMPORARY ART
The historical interiors of Laukko Manor showcase the most important recent production by current Finnish representatives. This summer the paintings of Petri Ala-Maunus, Erika Adamsson and Viljami Heinonen can be admired at Laukko Manor's main building. Anni Leppälä's photographic works are on display at the Gardeners' House, Virpi Kanto's concrete sculptures at Linnakellari (Castle Cellar) and Tapani Kokko's wooden sculptures at the Pakanakirkko (Heathen Church).

ACCESSIBILITY
The stairs leading up to the concert venue of Laukko Manor, such as access to the main building, are not unhindered. The restaurant and café facilities are accessible.
